Jim Zenk, CPA/JD is your partner in optimizing your practice’s financial performance. Jim is the consummate service professional, bringing deep experience, sound insight, and innovative thinking to every client relationship. Since 2011 he has focused his practice exclusively on providing tax and accounting services to dentists.
Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Iowa State University and his law degree from the University of Kansas. Throughout his studies, Jim built a proficiency in tax and business law. Earlier in his career, Jim accumulated significant public accounting experience through roles with prestigious “Big Four” accounting firms.
Jim is a licensed attorney in Minnesota and Washington, DC, and a licensed CPA in Kansas and Missouri.

Jennifer Voreis
Tax Director
Jennifer Voreis partners with dental practice owners to simplify complex tax matters and build long-term financial confidence. With more than 20 years of public accounting experience, she has developed deep expertise in tax planning and compliance working as a Tax Director, Forensic Accountant, and Tax Accountant. Jennifer spent over a decade leading tax planning and compliance strategies for medical and legal practices at a regional firm in Dallas, Texas. Her expertise includes business, nonprofit, trust, personal, and state tax returns, as well as IRS and state audits. Jennifer Voreis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Loyola University in New Orleans, LA, where she also studied cello performance. She works remotely from her home in Wyoming.

Kate O’Leary
Tax Director
Kate O’Leary, CPA, helps dental practice owners navigate the complexities of tax planning and compliance with clarity and confidence. She partners with clients on both day-to-day operations and long-term strategies, balancing tax efficiency, wealth building, and quality of life. By combining her deep, up-to-date knowledge of the tax code with straightforward communication, Kate creates practical, personalized solutions that support the growth of the practice while helping dentists achieve their personal and financial goals. Kate earned her degree in English from the University of Maryland, College Park, and expects to graduate with a Master of Science in Taxation at the University of Baltimore in Spring 2026. Kate is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She works remotely from her home in Maryland.

Eric Spiess
Tax Manager
Eric Spiess, CPA, partners with dental practice owners to simplify tax planning and compliance and support long-term financial confidence. He works closely with clients on both day-to-day accounting needs and forward-looking strategies, with an emphasis on tax efficiency, practice growth, and overall financial well-being. Eric has more than 11 years of accounting experience and has been a Certified Public Accountant for seven years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kansas State University, with a focus in marketing and accounting, and earned his MBA from Baker University. He works remotely from Kansas.

Bill Elliott

Bill Elliott partners with dental practice owners to turn complexity into clear, actionable strategies for growth. With over 20 years of executive leadership experience, he draws on a strong foundation in forecasting, budgeting, and financial management to guide clients through the challenges of business ownership. Bill has held leadership roles at Sprint and served as Controller and CFO for privately held companies, giving him a uniquely well-rounded perspective. Bill obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Angie Bensman is dedicated to helping dental practice owners build clarity, confidence, and long-term financial strength. With more than 20 years of experience at leading firms including KPMG, Bain Capital, and UMB Bank, Angie brings deep expertise in accounting, financial planning and analysis, and budgeting. She takes a holistic approach, helping clients gain a complete and strategic view of their financial health so they can make informed, future-focused decisions. Angie obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University, majoring in finance and accounting. She works remotely from her home in Kansas.

With over 20 years of public and private accounting experience, she has held leadership roles as Controller for a construction company, Financial Reporting Director for a publicly traded financial institution, and auditor at a Big 4 firm. As a licensed CPA, Cassandra combines technical expertise with real-world perspective to help clients navigate growth, compliance, and strategy. Cassandra holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University. She works remotely from her home in Montana.

Heather Foutz brings a distinctive combination of hands-on experience and strategic insight into her role as a Business Advisor. With a professional background spanning dental assisting, banking, mortgage lending, and technology, she has built a strong foundation in both people-focused service and operational strategy. As a dental practice owner and manager, Heather understands firsthand the challenges business owners face — from day-to-day operations to long-term planning. She has also co-authored a dental practice management book, sharing her knowledge to help others succeed. Known for her approachable style and collaborative mindset, Heather is passionate about helping professionals define and achieve their own version of success. Her mission is to provide practical strategies, compassionate guidance, and the confidence that business owners don’t have to navigate their journey alone. Kristen Whiteley

Kristen Whiteley is an accounting professional with a blended background across corporate accounting, public accounting, business ownership, and higher education. She brings more than 10 years of corporate accounting experience, complemented by three years in public accounting and two years as a business owner, giving her a practical perspective on financial operations and decision-making. She also has 10 years of higher education experience as a professor, where she taught and mentored students in accounting and related business topics, helping make complex concepts clear and actionable. In her current role at Trident CPA Services, she supports dental providers with accounting and client service tailored to practice ownership. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from William Jewell College and a Master’s in Accounting from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Kristen works remotely from Missouri.
